5.2 Synchronized and Non-synchronized Controls

When equipped with dual PFDs, some controls are synchronized

between the two PFDs to reduce confusion and improve situational

awareness. For these controls, adjusting any of the settings on one

PFD also changes the other PFD.

However, to provide maximum flexibility for the navigational needs of

two crew members, other controls are not synchronized.

Table 5.9 on page 70 lists the primary PFD controls and whether or

not they are synchronized:
